Samarnaz Alishahi (born 1994, Tehran) is a photographer and writer based in Guildford, UK. She holds an MA in Photography from the University for the Creative Arts at Farnham, UK. Her practice encompasses street photography, architecture, and fine art. Her projects in recent years have explored themes such as forgetting, migration, dreams, and memory, with a focus on human experiences, emotional narratives, and empathy. Alongside her photographic practice, she engages in writing and critical discourse on photography and works as a children’s photographer in the United Kingdom.
